March of 1963 Country Style founder Alan T. Lowe opened the first Country Style Donut shop in the heart of Toronto, Ontario. The Country Style concept was surprisingly simple; offer the customer a freshly brewed cup of premium coffee, keep the store spotless at all times and provide fast and friendly service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Toronto embraced Country Style and the Country Style Franchise grew quickly, Country Style grew to become the Toronto market leader.
